Summer salmon salad made by yours truly. Homemade raspberry vinegarette, mixed greens with whole raspberries, baked salmon with some seasoning, and extra-cheesy extra-garlic-y garlic bread, also baked and then broiled to slightly brown the cheese. Fuckin yum!

The best way to describe Japanese artist Mika Aoki’s physical body and shapes of her sculptures are like bacterial specimens going through an epidemic outbreak. At the same time, evolving and incorporating itself on cars, mutated bottles, syringes, and laboratory test tubes. In the end, her sculptures are beautiful, unusually universally perceived, and executed in abstract forms. (by okmarzo)
Well, plans for travel are changing, again. I’ll be spending my summer at the fam cottage in CT. Why? Because I’ve been in touch with some peeps at Stanford and my chances are good… IFF I can score well on the GRE (my GPA is less than stellar). Driving, of course, stopping at Yosemite and Yellowstone along the way. Really, I can’t think of another place I’d love to spend my summer studying…
